Job Description

Compassionate Wellness Center LLC in Hagerstown MD is a compassionate client-focused behavioral health organization committed to providing high-quality care and support to individuals affected by substance use disorders. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) to join our team. The LCADC will provide comprehensive assessments develop individualized treatment plans deliver counseling services and support clients in their journey toward recovery. The ideal candidate will bring clinical expertise strong interpersonal skills and a passion for empowering individuals to achieve lasting change.

Monday Friday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM

Responsibilities

  • Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and substance use evaluations.
  • Develop implement and monitor individualized treatment and recovery plans.
  • Provide individual group and family counseling sessions.
  • Facilitate evidence-based interventions and relapse prevention strategies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members including physicians social workers and case managers to coordinate care.
  • Maintain accurate timely and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Support clients with referrals to community resources and additional services as needed.
  • Participate in staff meetings case conferences and ongoing training to maintain best practices.

Qualifications

  • Active Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) credential in State.
  • Masters degree in counseling psychology social work or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience working with individuals with substance use and co-occurring disorders.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • Excellent communication organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Commitment to professional ethics cultural competence and client-centered care.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish or other languages).
