In this role you will report to the Operations Supervisor and be responsible for operating setting up and maintaining a select range of machine types in an industrial environment. Were looking for candidates with a knack for understanding machines and tools and a desire to grow their skills in a hands-on fast-paced setting. While this position works under close supervision it offers a great opportunity to build your expertise and make a difference.
** This position is for a weekend day shift typically scheduled from 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM working 12-hour shifts Friday Saturday and Sunday.
What You Will Be Doing
Document non-conforming material according to procedures participate in activities to implement root cause and corrective actions identified.
Adhere to all safety standards regulations and operating procedures.
Utilize work instructions and method documents to produce and inspect machines parts.
Utilize various gauging equipment to ensure conformance to the engineering specifications and standards through the production run.
Clean and maintain measuring instruments and test equipment and inspects parts for cleanliness (e.g. routed and deburring operations). Operates inspection equipment.
Interpret and follow blueprints for proper production task completion.
Perform routed operations of parts.
Knowledge of and ability to apply inspection techniques
What We Are Looking For
Ahigh school diploma or equivalentis required.
Strongmechanical aptitudeorbeginning experience with CNC machiningis highly preferred.
Ability to performmoderate physical activitiesthat require agility and dexterity including walking standing bending and lifting or moving objects.
Work is performed in anindustrial environmentwhere following safety guidelines including wearing protective gear is essential.
Candidates may be required to passNear Visionand/orColor Visionexaminations.
