Job Description Summary

The main objetive is to keep installed machinery and equipment available for proper operation To ensure that produced parts be produced according plans with the required quality.
Applying maintenance management tools such as planned jobs corrective jobs predictive maintenance managing the personnel in the most optimal way taking care of the safety of individuals and assets.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Line supervisory responsibility for maintenance personnel.
  • Provide direction to direct reports and ensure they are properly trained and given opportunities to develop their capabilities
    Provide business direction to resident contractors for M&R Work Management Process using computarized maintenance management system as the tool for effective utilization of M&R methodologies.
    Works with the Maintenance Leadership Team to maintain and drive maintenance process improvements that make a positive impact to all of the site businesses. Help to develop and implement strategic improvement opportunities to continue to improve overall site maintenance performance and efficiency.
    Establish and maintain high performance standards in TPM Reliabilty Centered Maintenance EHS Compliance and use of maintenance best practices.
    Ensure maintenance of site facilities meets or exceeds all appropriate regulatory requirements including OSHA TCPA RCRA and environmental permitting.
    Accountable for all maintenance costs in areas of responsibility. Must be capable of partnering with Area Operations to ensure overall cost management in relation to business PO objectives.
    Work with peer Operations & Engineering Business Leaders and the site Planning and Scheduling Manager to resource site wide maintenance work using both GEA and contracted workforces.
    Drive improvements in Safety Quality Delivery & Cost;
    Accountable in areas of responsibility to ensure that maintenance supports the supply chain to meet business goals & objectives
    Participate in site-wide teams outside area of direct responsibility. Supports site community affairs and site-wide improvement programs.
    Be a champion for ongoing Asset Care & Productivity Program initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • BS Engineering or significant relevant and equivalent experience; Mechanical Engineer preferred.
  • Electricity Electric Control CNC Machining process Facilities Maintenance Software
  • Strong background and experience in maintenance and reliability engineering with prior line supervisory experience and demonstrated ability in supervising direct reports in a line organization.

Desired Characteristics

  • Participation in an Asset Productivity Improvement (API) program is a plus;
  • Strong leadership & influence management skills across diverse work groups in a challenging work environment;
