Job Specifications
Position: Senior Traffic Operator.
Location: Bogota Colombia.
Reports to: VP of Operations initially then to the Regional Manager of Operations Latam.

Main Responsibilities
- Maintain effective communication between traders customers vendors and logistics services to ensure terms specified in purchase and sales contracts are executed.
- Oversee vessel scheduling laycan declaration / confirmation vessel nomination and tracking.
- Coordination with loading and discharging port agents.
- Handle requests for inspections (SGS Bureau Veritas etc.) as needed.
- Advised amended and negotiated letters of credit Examined letters of credit and trade documents for adherence to LC terms in accordance with UCP.
- Maintain necessary shipping documents (Certificates of Origin Bill of Lading Quality Certificates and other export documents).
- Manage insurance declarations (charterers liability and marine declaration).
- Update trade information / trade budgets generate billing and other reporting.
- Process and coordinate supplier freight and vendor payments with traders and finance department.
- Lay time calculations and settlement of demurrage / dispatch claims.
- Track customer payments and collections.
Position Requirements:
- 5 years experience in Trade/logistics and/or shipping industry preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. English and Spanish required.
- Experience and knowledge of accounting practices.
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency in MS Office 365.
- Detail oriented with exceptional organization skills.
- Ability to complete tasks independently while working with a team.
