Job Description
Fixed Term Opportunity
Were seeking a talented Group Accountant to join our Finance team based at our Auckland Corporate Office in the Commerical Bay PWC Tower for a Parental Leave Cover fixed-term period from October 2025 - August 2026. This exciting role will be responsible for delivering consolidated Group financial reporting and analysis for Delegat Group. Youll work closely with the Group Financial Controller and Company Accountants to ensure high-quality outcomes across the business. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a global success story in a newly created role where you can truly make your mark.
Our Finance team is a collaborative and high-performing group that supports Delegats global operations. Youll be part of a team that values quality insight and continuous improvement and plays a critical role in enabling informed decision-making across the business.
What youll be doing
Preparing all group financial and management reports
Coordinating month-end and year-end close processes and consolidations
Preparing commentary on monthly results for the Group Financial Controller and Chief Financial Officer
Providing financial analysis insight advice and support to senior leadership
Assisting with group audit activities and ensuring compliance with reporting standards
What youll bring
Chartered Accountant qualification with relevant experience in a Group Financial Accounting role
Demonstrated experience in financial reporting and analysis
Exposure to large enterprise software (ERP) systems
High attention to detail and a commitment to quality outcomes
Outstanding interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across diverse teams
