Wage: $15.00. (not tipped role)
Hours: 10A to 6:30P and once in awhile 9A-1P days of the week might shift holiday and weekend shift are part of the schedule.
Your contributions are:
Greet residents guests and family members in a prompt professional and courteous manner and escort for proper seating
Take prepare and serve beverage orders
Take orders and process transactions using the Point-of-Sale System
Prepare and serve orders according to the established health and presentation standards
Clear and clean dining room tables in a prompt and efficient manner
Sanitize and clean the pantry kitchen and dining room areas as outlined according to health and safety standards
Perform side-work and any opening and closing duties as required such as dishes are washed and stations areas are clean and organized salad prep
Alert management to any customer food service or safety concerns
Ensure guest satisfaction with excellent customer service skills
Physical and Sensory Requirements:
Requires mobility to stand and walk extensively during meal preparation and service. Lifting carrying trays and boxes up to 25lbs. Push/Pull Food Hot Boxes up to 50lbs. Bend stoop for access to carts food trays and other kitchen equipment. Manual dexterity for the use of kitchen utensils and tools. Visuals for reading menus labels and directions. Hearing to respond to verbal communications. Taste and Smell to assess food quality freshness and adherence to dietary requirements. Exposure to hot and cold temperatures.
Ensuring that diet aides meet these physical and sensory requirements is crucial to their ability to contribute effectively to the well-being of senior residents in a senior living community.
What you will need:
16 years or older pending specific state requirements.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Prior experience with one-on-one customer service interaction preferred.
Strong teamwork skills.
Successful background check and drug screen state specific
Health screening and TB tests state specific
ServSafe Certification and State Food Handlers Card state specific
Alcohol awareness certification state specific
