Job Description

At our Womelsdorf location we are looking for a 2nd Shift - Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with both plant equipment and material handling equipment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining a work-life balance with a 40-to-50-hour workweek including few Saturdays and no Sunday work. Competitive wages based on experience.
  • Being part of a cross-functional team working with manufacturing and warehouse associates to improve equipment availability and performance.
  • Completing preventative maintenance troubleshooting and repair tasks.
  • Working on both plant and material handling equipment.
  • Handling mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Utilizing troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair equipment.

We are looking for someone with:

  • 1-3 years of experience in plant maintenance with material handling equipment experience being a plus.
  • A minimum of a high school diploma (or GED/high school certification); a technical school certification is a plus.
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing is a plus but not required.
  • Basic mechanical and electrical skills.
  • The ability to work from equipment manuals and verbal instructions.
  • The ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • A dependable self-motivated attitude willing to learn and grow with the team and company.
  • The ability to stand and walk throughout the day and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
