Overview
Location: Des Moines Iowa
The Vice President of the Oncology Service Line Operations works in a dyad relationship with the Service Line Chief Medical Officer as the accountable operations leader for all services provided within the service line across the entire UnityPoint geography and across all sites of service. Key activities include setting strategic priorities operations leadership achieving financial goals through service line P&L management and partnering with key leaders and physicians in optimizing growth clinical and operational effectiveness and efficiency. The VP is expected to maintain up-to-date knowledge in national developments relevant to service line activities and to partner closely with the Executive Director of Service Line Strategy on growth and insights.

Qualifications
Education:
- Required: BSN BA BS
- Preferred: Advanced degree
Experience:
- Required: Three years of management experience in a healthcare field. Two years of experience in a position relevant to the service line.
- Preferred: Five or more years in a position relevant to Oncology.
License(s)/Certification(s):
- Valid drivers license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
Other:
- Strong leadership and communication skills. Able to lead complex projects while managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Balance team and individual responsibilities; be open and objective to others views; give and welcome feedback; contribute to positive team goals; and put the success of the team above own interests.
- Must be able to work collaboratively with a wide variety of clinical technical physician and corporate resources.
- Demonstrate initiative to improve quality and customer service by striving to exceed customer expectations.
- Excellent report and writing skills.
- Ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment decision making and problem-solving expertise.
- Ability to understand and apply guidelines policies and procedures.
