Job Description Summary

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Leader for Healthcare Japan will partner with the Japan business and finance leadership and be responsible for providing overall financial planning and performance tracking for the region driving sustainable growth through enhanced business performance and portfolio management. The FP&A Leader will work with the CFO and business leadership team to develop short- medium- and long-term plans and execution capabilities across the franchise. Reporting to the Japan CFO and in partnership with the Japan leadership team Finance and other functions the role will provide guidance and influence to deliver on growth objectives to anticipate and mitigate risks to meet overall P&L requirements.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Partner with the finance and business leadership teams and lead the development implementation and measurement of business plans and participate in their successful execution in an engaging and horizontal manner.
  • Partner with Global Finance or FP&A stakeholders / peers to formulate and coordinate Financial reporting and tracking mechanisms and projects.
  • Ownership for developing estimates operating plans/forecasts/reviews Long Term Strategy (3-year Plan) and Annual Budgeting (1-year Plan)
  • Communicate in depth and timely business performance analysis enable actionable items for continuous improvement.
  • Enable adequate visibility of business performance analytics to identify financial trends highlight risk and opportunities and ensure coordination is made in the business and priorities are aligned around it.
  • Implement the right risk and return insights policies to keep financials healthy while boosting region growth
  • Identify develop and promote finance talent recruit mentor and develop Finance talents.
  • Own running forecast and financial simulations mechanism and visibility according to current business trends. Overall responsibility for all internal finance processes e.g. budgets risks & opportunities process

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance Economics or Business Administration and 10 years financial work experience.
  • Fluent in English Japanese mandatory both verbal and written
  • At least 6 years of team leading experience in corporate finance or business planning
