About the team
Stripe is making significant investments in the expansion of its Global Professional Services team aiming to actively engage customers worldwide and expedite their adoption of Stripe. The Professional Services Strategic Initiatives team is responsible for driving the teams expansion by executing strategically important programs across the global organization. This includes crafting our service offerings designing our methodology and executing our enablement program. The team also oversees the accompanying change management communications technical requirements and cross-functional stakeholder management necessary for the successful implementation of global initiatives.
Furthermore as we master the craft of deployment services the team will contribute to the creation of assets and strategies to facilitate scaling through our partner ecosystem.
What youll do
In this role you will have the opportunity to drive large scale projects that directly impact the trajectory of the Professional Services team at Stripe. You will forge strong working relations with cross-functional stakeholders align on priorities and focus on successful outcomes. You will also have the opportunity to grow your knowledge of Stripes platform and our expanding portfolio of Professional Services offerings.
Responsibilities
- Own the full project lifecycle from ideation to global launch for strategic programs of work
- Lead the design development and launch of new service offerings for the Professional Services team
- Collaborate with Professional Services sellers to refine and evolve sales processes assets and methodologies
- Lead and contribute to projects to develop improve and scale our delivery processes globally
- Focus on the continuous improvement and enablement of the Professional Services methodology and its associate tools templates and processes
- Provide well-established program governance to manage requirements in line with the project scope and business objectives
- Provide proactive risk assessment prevention and mitigation plans and the efficient identification tracking and resolution of issues and decisions using established tools and templates
- Actively participate in a global community of practitioners to continually evolve and improve the way in which Stripe leads and supports our Users through high impact and complex implementations of Stripes payment infrastructure
- Partner closely with our cross-functional stakeholders to scope and execute global projects to create operational efficiencies that improve top-line metrics
- Drive innovation and adoption of implementation best practices alignment to methodologies and provide insights to our Professional Services team on how best to help our users achieve the maximum value from their Stripe investment

Minimum requirements
- 3 years of experience in project management business process analysis strategy and operations and/or consulting
- Program management skills with experience of managing projects from inception through to completion
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders with varying priorities and drive solutions and commitment to a shared goal
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Communication skills both written and verbal with experience articulating complex topics in an easy-to-consume way
- An interest in digging into the details of processes to identify opportunities for improvement and designing new ways of working with a focus on successful outcomes
Preferred qualifications
- Experience working in customer-facing roles (e.g. customer support sales partnerships consulting professional services etc.)
- Experience digging in to understand how new-to-you technical products work and understanding customer and agent pain points
- A familiarity with APIs
- Data-analysis skills with experience navigating large data sets
