GEA Group is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Service Sales Support Executive to join our Liquid & Powder Technologies (LPT) division. This role is essential in supporting the service sales team while actively engaging in spare-part sales activities (30-40%) to drive growth in GEA aftermarket services. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and customers to deliver spare-part solutions that ensure optimal performance of GEA equipment.
Responsibilities / Tasks
Sales Support & Coordination
- Prepare and manage service and spare part quotations contracts and proposals for LPT equipment.
- Handle invoicing purchase orders and monitor shipment clearance delivery and accounts receivable in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain CRM records and track service sales pipelines and open quotations.
- Support the preparation of service agreements including preventive maintenance contracts and spare parts packages.
- Execute orders for spare parts and field service ensuring on-time delivery to customers.
- Maintain the installed base database including data entry document control and other administrative tasks.
- Monitor stock levels manage inventory and coordinate ordering processes.
- Prepare and support service documentation such as reports manuals and related materials.
Active Sales Engagement
- Actively identify and follow up on spare-part sales opportunities through customer visits calls emails and installed base analysis.
- Participate in customer meetings technical discussions and commercial negotiations alongside the service sales team.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to support strategic sales initiatives.
- Serve as a key point of contact for customers regarding spare-part inquiries and follow-ups.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through timely and professional support.
Your Profile / Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Food Technology Business or a related technical field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales support customer service or technical salespreferably in industrial equipment or process technology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce).
- Familiarity with process equipment in food dairy beverage or pharmaceutical industries.
- Understanding of service business models including spare parts maintenance and digital services.
- Experience in preparing technical-commercial proposals and managing service contracts.
