Looking for a driving role where every journey makes a difference As an LGV Day Driver with Anglian Waters Logistics team youll do more than just transport goods youll play a vital part in keeping water flowing and communities supported.
Working throughout the day youll deliver essential parts and equipment to operational teams across our Water and Water Recycling networks. Its a role where your reliability safety and precision help keep critical services running smoothly while supporting colleagues right across the region.
What Youll Be Doing
As an LGV Day Driver youll play a key role in ensuring Anglian Waters operations run seamlessly. Your key responsibilities will include:
Delivering essential materials to sites and operational teams across the region ensuring items are safely and accurately transported recorded and ready for use.
Supporting planned maintenance and scheduled works by getting the right equipment to the right place at the right time.
Staying fully compliant and safety-focused following all UK transport laws tachograph regulations and Anglian Waters health safety and hygiene standards.
Assisting the warehouse team when not on the road including packing deliveries checking stock and helping maintain smooth logistics operations.
This is a hands-on role with real purpose keeping the water flowing and communities supported day after day.

What does it take to be a Logistics LGV Driver
Class 2 Driving License (C)
MHE experience (reach truck / counterbalance / Moffett)
Fully completed driver DQC CARD CPC
Additional driver vocational training (i.e. ADR CE)
HIAB training (Lifting equipment) such as Slinger/Signaller or Lift Supervisor
Flexibility regarding working shifts to meet the demands of working in essential industry sector
Strong player with excellent communication skills
Ability to work in all Anglian water operational sites
Ability to work as collaboratively part of a team as well as show initiative when working alone
Basic IT skills including understanding of basic Microsoft packages (i.e. outlook)
Ability to embrace change and positively deal with often conflicting priorities
This position is subject to drug and alcohol testing as part of our commitment to maintainingthe highest standards of safety and performance. Candidates must be willing to undergo testing prior to employment and may be subject to random testing throughout their employment.
