Job Description

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading Online Casino Gaming Company who is seeking to onboard a Senior Legal Counsel for their Malta office.


Position: Senior Legal Counsel

Location: Pieta Malta (office)

Employment type: Full-time

Remuneration: Base salary.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide legal advice across various practice areas including corporate commercial intellectual property data protection employment and dispute resolution.
  • Draft review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements.
  • Develop and maintain legal templates internal policies and contract management processes.
  • Deliver timely practical guidance to support compliant and efficient business decision-making.
  • Review implement and enforce terms and conditions while handling disputes complaints and litigation matters.
  • Monitor compliance with contractual obligations and maintain strong business relationships with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with external counsel on complex and cross-border legal issues.
  • Lead due diligence processes to ensure compliance in multi-jurisdictional markets.
  • Support corporate governance by preparing resolutions legal documentation and internal records.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Native / fluent in English with strong command in both writing and speaking.
  • Additional proficiency in Finnish would be considered an advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a similar legal role.
  • Degree in Law with professional legal qualification.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a detail-oriented quality-driven approach.
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to share expertise and contribute to team development.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across the business.
  • Confidence in advising senior management and contributing to strategic decision-making.
  • Commitment to professional growth and continuous learning.
