Job Description
RN- Float ICU (Permanent Role)
Location: Dallas TX 75246
Shift: 12-hr Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: (Negotiable based on experience)
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in various ICU settings.
- Assess patient condition recognize critical changes and take appropriate action.
- Administer medications treatments and procedures within scope of practice.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Respond rapidly to emergency situations and support lifesaving procedures.
- Float between ICU units based on staffing needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions treatment plans and post-discharge care.
- Comply with all hospital policies protocols and quality standards.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associates or Bachelors degree in Nursing).
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
