Job Description

RN- Float ICU (Permanent Role)

Location: Dallas TX 75246
Shift: 12-hr Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: (Negotiable based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in various ICU settings.
  • Assess patient condition recognize critical changes and take appropriate action.
  • Administer medications treatments and procedures within scope of practice.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Respond rapidly to emergency situations and support lifesaving procedures.
  • Float between ICU units based on staffing needs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records.
  • Educate patients and families on health conditions treatment plans and post-discharge care.
  • Comply with all hospital policies protocols and quality standards.
Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associates or Bachelors degree in Nursing).
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire).
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
