ADF ONE LAKE AZURE SQL DATA WAREHOUSING LAKEHOUSE IMPLEMENTATION IN FABRIC. ETL PIPELINES WITHIN FABRIC. ETL PIPELINES WITHIN FABRIC. APIS.
- Expectations:
- Candidate should own and articulate their resume line-by-line
- Must demonstrate real-world project knowledge: what was built why and how
- Should be able to speak to project context such as type of data (customer financial etc.) and decision-making rationale
- Ideal candidate will have the ability to consult and advise the internal team-not just execute
- Candidate must be strong enough to teach not learn on the job
- Communication skills must be 10/10
- Key Technical Areas to Probe in Pre-Screens:
- OneLake connectivity (e.g. shortcutting to Data Lake)
- Differences between mirroring of Azure SQL vs on-prem SQL (on-prem not yet GA)
- Architecture decisions-data warehousing Lakehouse implementation in Fabric
- Use of ETL pipelines within Fabric
- Familiarity with APIs resiliency/DR planning in Fabric
- Clear understanding of what features are currently GA versus preview
- Implementation Experience:
- Candidates must have been involved in the actual implementation of Fabric-not post-go-live report building only
- Its okay if they worked as part of a team but they must clearly articulate their own contributions and understand decisions made
