Network Engineer
Location: Raleigh NC *Onsite
Duration: 24 Months
Rate: $90 - $95/hr on W2
Description:
Support user onboarding of Cloudflares Network Access Solution (ZTNA). Services support includes a full time onsite resident network access engineer. The primary function of this resources is to assist customer with the implementation and user onboarding efforts for up to 17000 users following software installation by Cloudflare.
Resident engineer will support staff by providing provide ongoing support optimization and troubleshooting after the initial deployment. The resource will have expertise in Cisco ASA firewalls and Palo Alto Panorama and work directly with our manufacturers to streamline onboarding efforts as users gain access the platform.
Performance Optimization
Security and Policy Management
Assess the current Cisco IPSEC VPN setup including user access needs applications and security requirements.
Conduct a pilot phase with a small group of users to validate the new setup gather feedback and make necessary adjustments to policies and configurations.
Facilitate a smooth transition from Cisco IPsec VPNs to Cloudflare ZTNA remote access.
Change Management and Configuration Updates
Documentation Reporting and training staff
Collaboration and Escalation
Monitoring and Alerts
Cloudflare resident engineer support will help provide:
Secure Access: Users are onboarded with secure access to applications and resources leveraging Zero Trust principles.
Compliance: Devices and access methods comply with the organizations security policies and regulatory requirements.
User Satisfaction: Users have a smooth onboarding experience with minimal friction during access setup.
Proactive Support: Regular monitoring and troubleshooting ensure minimal downtime or security risks for users.
