Job Description
Position: IT Engineer
Location: Reston VA
Hybrid 3 days in office/2 days remote
Description:
REQUIRED: Recent in-depth management of Windows endpoints using MDM particularly Workspace One.
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for Windows 10/11 physical and virtual environments
- Assist in the deployment configuration and management of MDM solutions (Workspace ONE)
- Monitor system performance compliance and logging/monitoring
- Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure endpoint protection and policy enforcement
- Maintain documentation for system configurations procedures and troubleshooting guides
- Implement and troubleshoot Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and CSP configurations
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex OS and application issues
- Support endpoint provisioning and testing
- Participate in patch management OS upgrades and feature update rollouts
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in a Windows desktop engineering or support role
- Proficiency in Windows 10 and Windows 11 troubleshooting and support
- Hands-on experience with MDM platforms such as Omnissa Workspace ONE
- Experience with CSP SyncML WNS OMA-DM Windows OS in-place upgrades Windows Update for Business or other endpoint management processes
- Familiarity with Group Policy and CSP-based configuration management
- Understanding of Windows Autopilot Azure AD Join and hybrid environments
- Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell preferred) for automation and reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of ITIL Foundation. Understanding of service lifecycle service strategy and continual service improvement
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
