Job Description
KITE Search are currently working with one of the prestigious property developers based in Hong Kong & China. As a brand the are synonymous for developing and managing premium real estate assets in The Greater Bay Region. Upon recent business expansion they are looking for a ExecutiveDirector of Quantity Surveying / Commercial to be responsible for the overall commercial management for the project team. This is a significant leadership position and will sit on an executive level.
Duties:
- Overall management and leadership of the entire commercial and quantity surveying team
- Management of Quantity Surveying from feasibility cost studies appointment of consultants and contractors including negotiation of fees contract prices and contract terms.
- Drafting and reviewing of construction contract terms and conditions and monitoring costs during the project lifetime.
- Ensuring that company procurement procedures are adhered to.
- Managing the project team with the Project Director. Coordinating and managing the various internal teams with the project team.
- Drafting bespoke special conditions of contract to FIDIC for the Main Works Construction Contract.
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or relevant discipline with professional qualifications
- Minimum of 25 years experience with notable management of large scale commercial teams for a property developer / hospitality
developer working on large-scale integrated hospitality projects
- Executive level experience and ability to communicate in English and Cantonese fluently
