Job Description
Location: Manchester Old Trafford
Role Type: 9 Month Contract (Maternity Cover)
Salary: 50000 - 55000 (OTE)

Interim vacancy has arisen due to secondment of current role holder to cover a maternity leave in FP&A for 9months
- Responsible for the compliance and accounting for the smaller entities in the Group (PHAUS PHCAN and PHMNZ) liaising with and managing the external local accountants and advisers and ensuring filings and queries from Insurers etc are responded to timely
- Supporting the year-end Global Audit process and responding to queries pertaining to the entities within remit and mentoring the other junior members of the wider Finance team
- Ownership of the Annual Budget Planning and Risk & Opportunities (R&Os) for delegated Central & Support functional areas and coordinating with the FP&A team for the P&L/BS lines within FP&A remit
- Monthly activities include
- Processing payroll journals and working with Payroll to resolve discrepancies
- Processing Company Expenses including Company Credit Cards Out-of-Pocket expenses
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Continual improvement of processes and support/mentoring junior members of the team
- Involvement in projects and testing where applicable to areas of responsibility
ERP/Accounting system in-house : Microsoft Dynamics Navision 2016
Requirement:
- A professional qualification in Accounting or Finance (ACA ACCA CIMA or equivalent)
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel
- High attention to detail to ensure accurate reports but able to take a pragmatic approach where appropriate
