About us:
Signature Plants is a well-established plant nursery in Oratia Auckland.
We are currently looking for a team member to join our Oratia Nursery.
Signature Plants specialises in the growing of native plants to supply to ecological restoration and revegetation projects.
Our dedicated team are looking for more team members who want to work outdoors.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Pulling orders for customers from stock.
Ensure correct plant species and numbers are pulled for customer orders in a timely fashion.
Ensure high quality plants are sent to customers.
Loading trolleys with plants and loading trolleys onto delivery truck.
Grading plant stock and maintenance including weeding trimming and watering to ensure plants within the nursery are well taken care of.
Propagation of seed cuttings seedlings and potting on of plant stock.
Work within a positive work environment with a focus on task completion.
Work under all contract conditions and company policies.
Demonstrate a commitment to health & safety through participation in meetings reporting site observations and daily work activities.
Work unsupervised at times.
REQUIREMENTS / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED
Passion for horticulture
Able to plan follow instructions and to use initiative
Able to organise and implement day to day tasks
Current Site Safe Growsafe certificate in horticulture or similar would be advantageous
A clean full NZ drivers licence would be advantageous
Passion for plants with a focus on quality and customer service.
Experience in this industry is advantageous but not essential.
Is physically fit
Has the ability to work well in a team as well as with minimal supervision
