Senior Process Engineer
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Process Engineer with extensive experience in offshore projects within the Oil & Gas industry. The ideal candidate will bring technical proficiency and practical know-how to deliver optimized efficient solutions for complex offshore operations.
Location: South Holland
Duration: 12-month renewable contract
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop review and update Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) to ensure accurate process designs.
- Conduct compressor and blowdown studies to enhance operational safety and efficiency.
- Perform sizing calculations for pipelines valves control systems and other process equipment to support project requirements.
- Utilize process simulation software (Hysys Unisim) for modeling and optimizing processes.
- Apply thermal design software like HTRI for heat exchanger design and analysis.
- Work with AutoCAD to design modify and review layouts and schematics.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project objectives ensuring alignment with engineering standards and safety regulations.
- Lead process safety studies troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of process engineering experience with at least 8years in the Oil & Gas industry specifically in offshore projects.
- Proficiency with Hysys Unisim HTRI and AutoCAD software.
- Extensive experience in compressor and blowdown studies P&ID development and sizing calculations.
- Strong knowledge of O&G industry standards and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving communication and organizational skills.
