Job Description
Opportunity for a technical candidate with hands-on experience in laser technology products to join as a Process Engineer to develop evaluate and improve manufacturing flows and methods.
Role:
- Develops implements and maintains methods operation sequence processes and systems in the manufacture of sub-assemblies precision cleaning and final assemblies of laser system.
- Set up and maintain bill of materials process flow and routing process layout to ensure smooth physical materials documentation and system flow throughout the operations.
- Drives continuous improvement in quality productivity cycle time inventory management and cost
- Estimates manufacturing cost determines time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines.
- Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.
- Proficiency in Oracle System is an advantage
Experience
- Bachelor in engineering with 2 to 5 years experience in Manufacturing Engineering process focus.
- Proficient in Lean thinking and application will be an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-directed and able to work independently with little or no direct supervision Analytical problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and reliability.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
