Job Description
Our client is looking for a Manager/Senior ManagerMaterial Procurement (Chinese Speaking) to join their office. This candidate will play a critical role in their dynamic and multi-regional team of aircraft and engine leasing technical professionals. Your primary responsibility will be to provide material support for the companys owned and managed aircraft assets on lease globally.
Responsibilities
Key duties include but are not limited to:
- Manage purchasing planning and budgeting for aircraft and engine reconfigurations.
- Materials & Budgetary Support.
- Evaluate supplier quotes to align with project schedules and pricing targets.
- Optimize or dispose of surplus airframe and engine materials including sales and consignment management.
- Vendor Supplier & Client Management:
- Negotiate General Terms Agreements (GTAs) for competitive pricing and lead times.
- Support Purchase Agreement (PA) and GTA negotiations for BFE components.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs suppliers and leasing companies.
What youll have:
- Relevant technical or engineering education ideally in materials and logistics management.
- Minimum 5 years of aviation experience with 3 years in a similar role within aircraft leasing airlines or MRO.
- Strong knowledge of logistics shipping and customs requirements.
