The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is currently seeking Entry-Level Software Engineers -DevSecOps to work in Berkeley Missouri. Were seeking a highly talented motivated and creative individual to support the existing capabilities of Air Proprietary 1 in the Air Dominance organization. Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.
Position Responsibilities:
Gathers information to develop document and maintain standardized efficient processes tools methodologies and performance metrics to streamline the software engineering lifecycle and enable continuous integration delivery and deployment of safety critical software
Assists to automate develop monitor improve and troubleshoot across software engineering development tooling testing integration deployment configuration processes and security controls
Aids and provides information to analyze plan and execute mitigation strategies to prevent potential security risks threats and vulnerabilities
Assists to implement an environment that enables high levels of quality safety compliance and continuous improvement across the organization
Provides data to support collaboration with cross functional teams to build and maintain robust scalable and secure software engineering systems
Assists to implement current and emerging technologies tools frameworks and regulations in the software engineering DevSecOps environment
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. This position requires ability to obtain program access for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
Experience with C C# Java or Python
Experience with Agile Software Development
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor Master or Doctor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering computer science mathematics physics or chemistry
Experience with Amazon Web Services
Experience with Infrastructure as Code
Ability to obtain Security certification
Experience with Linux
