You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailRichmond Behavioral Health has an exciting new opportunity for a Licensed Program Manager II to lead our Community Response Team. The selected individual will perform clinical services and complex administrative work planning organizing and supervising the daily operation of the Community Response Team (CRT) To ensure programs meet client needs within regulatory requirements monitoring contracts monitoring program budgets preparing and maintaining files and records preparing reports and related work as apparent or assigned. The CRT consists of a partnership between the Richmond Police Department (RPD) and the Richmond Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA). The CRT in accordance with the Marcus Alert legislation supports an overall effort to expand specialized law enforcement and behavioral health strategies tailored to meet the needs of people with mental health challenges in the Richmond community. The CRT aims to reduce law enforcement involvement in crisis calls where public safety is not at risk to improve information sharing and coordination across systems and service providers; and to reduce overall costs relating to people with mental or behavioral health concerns including the use of emergency services. Clinicians work in close partnership with the Richmond Police Department responding to calls involving people who may be experiencing a behavioral health crisis. Clinicians are trained to assist people in crisis and provide the most effective services for resolution. Clinicians and officers collaborate to provide treatment in a format that resolves the current crisis. The CRT also helps identify community resources alternative treatment options and long-term community supports in any area identified by the individual. Work is performed under the general direction of the assigned Director. Supervision is exercised over subordinate CRT personnel.
