Job Description Summary
Join the Configuration Management team within the Engineering Department for the M601H80 Engine Product this role you will provide critical configuration support to designers ensuring design changes align with configuration standards and processes. You will manage and maintain parts lists offer configuration expertise to internal teams and external suppliers and represent the discipline during audits. This position requires advanced engineering knowledge proficiency in PLM tools (Teamcenter Siemens preferred) and strong communication skills in both Czech and English. Ideal candidates will have a detail-oriented mindset experience in regulated industries like aviation and advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Work as a member of the Configuration Management team within the Engineering Department for the M601H80 Engine Product Line
Provide configuration support to designers as part of the elaboration phase of design changes for development and certified engines.
Review submitted design changes to ensure conformance to configuration standards and processes.
Manage and maintain the parts list ensuring it reflects design changes and their impact on the overall configuration of parts.
Provide configuration expertise and guidance to internal teams and external design suppliers ensuring accurate and effective transfer of configuration information.
Represent the configuration discipline during internal and external audits.
Help to improve processes and system capabilities related to configuration identification and control.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all configuration-related activities maintaining high standards of quality.
Develop in-depth knowledge of the configuration discipline. Use prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute for the department.
Required Qualifications
Advanced experience in the Engineering (ME)/Technology with a knowledge of Configuration Management.
Knowledge level comparable to a Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
Proficiency in any Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool is highly desirable. (We are leveraging Teamcenter Siemens)
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel including data analysis and reporting capabilities.
Fluent in Czech and English language. ( Daily use in communication).
Desired Characteristics
Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work.
Experience within the Aviation or similarly regulated industry is highly advantageous.
