This is what you will do:

• Participation in the identification measurement monitoring and reporting of non-financial risks including ESG drivers
• Organizing the implementation of annual risk control self-assessments by all departments and following up on necessary measures
• Supporting the business departments in developing appropriate risk indicators as part of the early warning system and in reviewing and reporting on the risk profile
• Regular and ad hoc reporting on non-financial risks and associated operational risk reports and loss events
• Participation in the implementation of new relevant regulatory requirements (MaRisk Basel CRR EBA etc)
• Carrying out risk assessments and advising the business departments on the introduction of new products processes or markets
• Developing maintaining and improving risk concepts guidelines and procedures
• Participation in overarching risk controlling topics as well as special topics within the scope of projects etc.
• Supporting internal and external audits

Youll bring us these skills:

• Masters degree (e.g. in economics business informatics (business) mathematics) or a comparable qualification
• Several years of relevant professional experience in risk management or risk controlling at credit institutions with a focus on non-financial risk
• Sound knowledge of MaRisk in particular the concepts and procedures in the context of OpRisk and Non-Financial Risk as well as other regulatory requirements (in particular KWG CRR EBA / ECB guidelines)
• High level of commitment self-motivation and resilience
• Efficient way of working: Good self-management and a high degree of initiative
• Innovative mindset with openness to new technologies (e.g. automation)
• You are a strong communicator and have very good Bulgarian and English skills German skills additionally is a plus
