Job Description

The impact you will create:
- Youll be part of a team building cloud products that help customers automate their infrastructure. The main tasks include developing REST APIs in Go (with some legacy code in Java) for services like server backups updates and snapshot management. A key part of the job is also building and integrating a custom agent for both Windows and Linux servers
- Software Quality & Architecture: Youre expected to maintain high-quality code through automated testing and best practices. You will also contribute to designing a stable and reliable software architecture
- Integration: Your work will need to integrate seamlessly with other STACKIT services such as the main portal the Terraform provider and the central Identity and Access Management (IAM) system
- End-to-End Responsibility: The team takes full ownership of its products from development to deployment and maintenance supported by other internal teams
Experience and skills you will need:
- Programming: Strong experience developing REST APIs with languages like Go (Golang) Java or Python. Go is the primary language for new development
- Cloud & DevOps: Knowledge of cloud environments architectures and Kubernetes
- Communication Protocols: Familiarity with REST and gRPC
- Databases: Experience with database systems like PostgreSQL
