Location: Austin TX 78751 (Hybrid On Site & Telework)
Schedule: MondayFriday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (excluding State holidays)
Contract Duration: 09/15/2025 12/31/2025
Citizenship Requirement: Must hold U.S. Person status
Certification Requirement: PMP Certification is required and must be listed on the resume. Proof may be requested.
About the Role
Were seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager II to lead the development and implementation of enhancements to a Financial Data Warehouse system. This role is part of the Administrative Applications Production Data Services team and requires a strong background in Agile project management technical understanding and stakeholder communication.
Youll be responsible for planning budgeting overseeing and documenting all aspects of the project working closely with both business and technical teams to ensure successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale enterprise project implementations
- Apply Agile (Scrum) methodologies and PMI framework
- Create project charters work plans and related artifacts
- Communicate effectively with clients IT teams and leadership
- Provide technical support during business hours and on-call as needed
- Develop and deliver presentations to leadership and oversight entities
- Understand and communicate complex technical designs and business processes
Required Skills & Experience
- 6 years of Project Management experience for enterprise implementations
- 6 years of experience with State of Texas or similar Federal/State projects
- 3 years of Agile (Scrum) experience
- 3 years of development experience
- 3 years of Jira experience
- PMP Certification (must be listed on resume)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the State of Texas Project Delivery Framework
- Experience with data warehouse applications and/or database reporting
- Familiarity with State procurement and contracting processes
