PRTR is looking for a Business Intelligence Specialist to work with an expanding major oil & gas company that is currently growing its technology team in Thailand.
Responsibilities
- Providing analytic technology expertise and inputs to business functions to meet business requirements.
- Designing and visualization data for dashboards presentations and infographics to analyze complex datasets in a simple and intuitive format.
- Communicating to related parties ex. Users EA team Data Governance team or Infrastructure team to ensure involvement alignment and collaboration
- Focusing on the surrounding digital environment and is responsible for ensuring that BI / Analytics implemented works seamlessly through proper interfaces to optimize work effectiveness.
- Being the project manager for the Data project and managing the data timeline and budget.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Information Technology or a related discipline.
- Experience of at least 3 4 years working in BI and analytic areas with designing and building BI dashboards.
- Experience of at least 3 4 years in fully implemented IT projects (designing developing and supporting).
- Knowledge in data analytic and computation tools e.g. ETL/ELT tools and/or data visualization tools including cloud platform solutions.
- Knowledge of enterprise software and technology such as SAP ECC SAP BW Power BI AWS etc.
- Experienced in the Oil and Gas business would be a strong advantage.
- A certificate related to the data analytics area would be an advantage.
- Strong written and verbal English skills.
