Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Business Intelligence Analyst where you will be an integral part of transforming data into insightful business decisions. As an entry-level member of our analytics group you will support experienced analysts and business partners across the company learning to convert complex data into actionable strategies. This is a unique opportunity to develop your data analytics skills through hands-on involvement in real-world business intelligence projects.
Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with data scientists engineers and business stakeholders to gather process and analyze data to support business decision-making.
Assist in collecting cleaning and preparing data from a variety of sources for analysis and reporting purposes.
Support the design and development of dashboards reports and data visualizations using modern business intelligence tools.
Help document analytics processes project requirements and findings for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to identify business opportunities and propose data-driven solutions.
Learn and utilize analytical tools statistical methods and visualization software to support ongoing projects.
Assist with the evaluation and tracking of business intelligence project progress and outcomes.
Support the maintenance of key performance indicators (KPIs) and recurring reports for the business intelligence team.
Stay up to date with industry trends in business intelligence and data analytics through training research and mentorship.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in data analytics statistics computer science engineering business or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
1-3 years of experience in data analysis business intelligence or a related field (internship or project experience welcomed).
Basic understanding of data analytics concepts including data collection cleaning and visualization.
Familiarity with business intelligence tools (such as Power BI DAX or similar) is a plus.
Exposure to SQL or analytical programming languages (such as Python or R) is advantageous.
Familiarity with Microsoft tools like Excel etc.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly in a team-oriented environment.
Effective verbal and written communication skills with an eagerness to present complex information clearly and concisely.
Attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
Interest in developing skills in advanced analytics machine learning or AI-driven analytics is desirable but not required.
