Job Summary:
Extreme Networks Japan is seeking a highly motivated and experienced High-Touch Account Executive to lead and expand our business across the Western Japan region. The successful candidate will directly engage with end customers and work closely with regional partners to grow market share especially in public sector and education-related verticals.
Territory Coverage:
Kansai Chugoku Shikoku and Kyushu regions
Target Markets:
All market segments with a strategic focus on Local Governments boards of education Universities and hospitals where Extreme has strong market presence
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a strategic go-to-market plan for the Kansai and broader Western Japan area
Engage directly with Local Governments Universities Hospitals and other public institutions leveraging successful use cases in central government local governments and educational institutions
Promote Extremes key solutions such as Fabric over SD-WANZero Trust networking and the upcoming Extreme Platform One
Strengthen collaboration with key regional partners and local distributors
Work in close coordination with pre-sales SEs partner sales teams and Marketing to drive pipeline and successful delivery
Represent Extreme as a trusted advisor supporting long-term customer relationships and technology adoption
Requirements:
Proven experience in high-touch sales preferably in the networking or IT infrastructure sector
Deep understanding of the public sector and education markets in Japan
Strong communication collaboration and presentation skills
Ability to work independently while coordinating across multiple teams
Strong Japanese and English language skills
Willingness to travel frequently between Tokyo and Western Japan
