This is a once in a career opportunity where you will play a key role in the reform of NSW rail influencing change for our customers and community.
This is your chance to use your skills and experience to add value to our NSW Rail Network.
You will support the Senior Manager Freight Strategy and Planning to manage and coordinate key regulatory and pricing accountabilities for TAM (Transport Asset Management).
Contribute to the development of new NSW rail access agreements with rail operators annual pricing reviews regulatory compliance reports and assurance reviews.
Together with the Senior Manager you will facilitate rail freight planning strategy development and investment including developing pricingmethodologies set prices arrangements for public and third-party rail operators.
Monitor KPIs and trends providing insights for the improvement and efficiency of third-party rail access performance.
Provide advice on and manage where necessary contract management areas arising from TAMs existing access agreements with rail operators.
Prepare TAMs annual compliance reporting to IPART.

About you
You understand rail freight intermodal operations & the movement of key commodities interstate statewide and interfacing with port operations.
You will understand the rail networks across Australia and the origin and destination of key freight.
A future focused person who understands trends and enjoys implementing reform initiatives to better meet Australias supply chain task.
You are customer centric with a commercial background which will aid you to deliver meaningful change in a regulatory environment for the benefit of TAM and our customers.
Your extensive rail background has equipped you with the ability to provide essential strategic advice on the development of a new NSW Rail Access Undertaking for the Metropolitan Rail Network and the Country Regional Network.
You will bring key negotiations skills and stakeholder engagement working with diverse groups both internal and external third-party rail operators.
You will be able to influence decision-making and ensure freight strategy asset planning and investment reflects the broader network and policy goals.
Previous experience in coordinating data gathering drafting and preparation of submissions.
Assurance and compliance experience ideally within the rail industry.
You will be a big picture thinker motivated to add value to our customers.
