Our client is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Engineering Manager ready to be a game-changer. This individual will challenge the status quo drive innovation and establish a clear strategic technology roadmap to position the company for long-term success.
The Engineering Manager will build and lead a dedicated engineering department. The ideal candidate must be assertive a critical thinker and an exceptional communicator capable of challenging existing authority constructively and influencing change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing a strategic technology roadmap to drive innovation and long-term growth.
- Establishing and leading a separate Engineering Department focused on process improvements technology advancements and operational efficiency.
- Overseeing and managing the following departments: Coating THT (Through-Hole Technology) SMT (Surface Mount Technology) Test and Assembly.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize processes introduce new technologies and ensure alignment with production and business goals.
- Challenging current processes and strategies by presenting fresh ideas and solutions to enhance performance and quality.
- Leading mentoring and developing a high-performing engineering team.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives ensuring lean and efficient operations across all managed departments.
- Communicating effectively in English with internal teams senior management and external stakeholders.
- Acting as a key influencer fostering a culture of innovation accountability and excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 5-10 years of management experience in the EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) industry.
- Proven ability to challenge existing practices and drive strategic change.
- Strong experience managing and improving operations in Coating THT SMT Test and Assembly processes.
- Exceptional leadership problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to create and execute long-term strategic plans.
- Experience building and leading independent engineering functions.
