The Sensitive Claims Service provides support to anyone in Aotearoa New Zealand including visitors to the country who have experienced sexual abuse or assault in New Zealand.
The Recovery Partner Mental Injury team acts as a facilitator between clients treatment providers suppliers and other agencies.
In this position you will work with clients throughout their recovery process. The role includes engaging in discussions with clients and providers as well as reviewing medical information and provider reports. You will identify individual client needs and preferences and align these with the entitlements and services funded by ACC or other contracted agencies. Tasks include approving clinical recommendations or offering feedback to providers and clients on available options supporting informed decision-making and managing expectations proactively.
Sensitive claims can be complex and may require extended timeframes. Effective prioritisation proactive time management analytical review of information and sound judgement within established guidelines are essential for this position.
The role may involve exposure to challenging information. ACC provides a collaborative environment and access to various support mechanisms including training and professional supervision.
The Indicative salary $77502 $6975 (9%) superannuation
