- Proficiency in Java Spring Boot and RESTful API development.
- Experience with IAM concepts such as SSO OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
- Expertise in API-related technologies including JSON REST Swagger and tools such as Postman.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket.
- Knowledge of AWS is a plus.
- Strong understanding of relational databases.
Collaboration and Leadership:
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g. sprint planning stand-ups retrospectives).
- Contribute to team-wide continuous improvement initiatives.
Technical Problem Solving:
- Analyze troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the backend stack.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Certifications in Java or cloud technologies.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Qualifications:
- A bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science or a related field with at least 4 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories principles and concepts.
- Significant experience in software development including architecture and design.
- Expertise in specific areas such as databases networking or security.
- Mentorship and code review experience with a focus on best practices.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal for effective coordination and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to identify issues quickly and develop effective solutions.
