Are you interested in innovating to deliver a world-class service to Amazons Selling Partners in Japan
The Amazon Marketplace Paid Services (AMPS) is seeking for a dynamic and motivated Strategic Account Merchant Consultant to further grow our Paid Service programs. The Strategic Account Merchant Consultant is responsible for working with our large accounts to help them grow their business on Amazon by providing strategic recommendations and scale our service by building mechanisms with a strong data-driven analytical view. We work closely with teams across US EU and China to invent and innovate to grow the program improve seller engagement and satisfaction.
The ideal candidate is comfortable influencing senior-level external stakeholders possesses strong sales skills has a track record of using data and tools to drive business growth and is comfortable operating in an ambiguous environment.

- 6 years experience in business role requiring to negotiate with the outside. e.g. sales/account management/business consultant
- Analytical skills with experience using Microsoft Excel (e.g. vlookup pivot) and BI tools.
- Fluent level Japanese both verbal and written skills
- Conversational level English both verbal and written skills
- Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
- Experience aggregating and analyzing internal and external campaign metrics to assess performance drivers and identify insights
- Experience in digital advertising and client facing roles
