Role description:
We currently have an immediate vacancy for an experienced water engineer in our Water Management Design & Engineering team. With office locations across India we are flexible with respect to the applicants location and offer hybrid working arrangements.
Role accountabilities:
The ideal candidate should be an experienced water engineer that is able to demonstrate competence in some or all the following key areas:
- Design construction and / or maintenance of reservoir canal and river engineering or flooddefence works.
- Hydraulic design of reservoir outlet structures or river engineering.
- Scour assessments and design of mitigation measures.
In addition the candidate should have:
- Design or construction related experience preferably within the UK Civil Engineering sector.
- Good interpersonal skills and being an effective communicator.
- Self-motivation and adaptable to evolving project challenges.
- Knowledge and experience of BIM led design and Civils 3D.
- A desire to mentor and develop graduate engineers
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum Academic and Professional Qualifications:
- Around 7 years of experience and having a Bachelors in Civil Engineering or Masters in Water Resources or similar discipline.
- Chartered Engineer or commitment to working towards Chartered or Incorporated Engineer professional status is preferable.
