About the job
Are you a technically savvy professional with deep knowledge of marine sensors instrumentation and control systems Do you understand the dynamics of the TIC (Testing Inspection & Certification) market and enjoy working with both existing customers and generating new business
Atlas Marine Services Pte Ltd is expanding and we are looking for a driven and hands-on Technical Sales Engineer to join our team in this role you will take ownership of sales activities for our Instrumentation & Control Systems portfolio within the marine industry supporting key clients and exploring new opportunities in Southeast Asia.
Youll be reporting directly to the Country Manager and will be instrumental in bridging technical expertise with client needs ensuring high-quality solutions and customer satisfaction.
Your responsibilities
Manage and grow a portfolio of existing marine clients.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Singapore and the region.
Provide technical sales support on instrumentation sensors and control systems for marine applications.
Understand client needs and propose suitable testing inspection and certification (TIC) services and products.
Prepare quotations proposals and technical documentation in collaboration with internal teams.
Maintain strong market knowledge and monitor industry trends.
Represent the company at industry events exhibitions and client meetings.
Collaborate closely with operations and service teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Job requirements
Who you are
A Singapore Citizen with a technical background (Engineering Marine Electronics Instrumentation or similar).
Bachelors degree or diploma in Marine Engineering Electrical/Electronic Engineering Instrumentation & Control Marine Electronics or a related technical field.
Minimum 35 years of relevant experience in technical sales within the marine or offshore industry.
Strong knowledge of instrumentation sensors and control systems for marine applications.
Familiar with the TIC industry experience with classification societies port authorities or inspection bodies is a plus.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated results-driven and customer-oriented.
Willing to travel within the region occasionally as needed.
