Job Summary

If so we have a remarkable opportunity for you! Based in the vibrant city of Dubai but with the flexibility of a global reach our client is a leading entity specialized in FinTech solutions and pioneering technology.
We are looking for a Jira Productivity Analyst that can produce weekly insights into team productivity by distinguishing genuine contribution using data from Jira Git CI/CD pipelines Timing and other relevant systems.
What your responsibilities will include:
- Analyze engineering time logs in relation to Jira velocity (story points completed per sprint).
- Monitor effort versus delivery by comparing logged hours (via Timing GitLab and Jira) against actual output.
- Identify delivery bottlenecks across teams and products to improve efficiency.
- Generate weekly reports highlighting underperformance overengineering and velocity discrepancies.
- Maintain performance dashboards and configure alerts for detecting anomalies.
- Investigate incident logs and trace root causes back to specific engineering workflows.
Qualifications:
- 35 years of experience in data analytics business intelligence (BI) or engineering performance analysis roles.
- Proficiency with tools such as Jira GitLab Confluence and time-tracking systems (e.g. Timing Harvest).
- Strong command of SQL and experience with BI platforms such as Looker Power BI or Tableau.
- Background in SaaS Agile software development environments or technology-focused FP&A is highly desirable.
