TITLE:21st Century Community Learning Specialist
*One year grant funded position*

HIRING SPECIFICATIONS:
Required:
1. Bachelors degree in education youth studies human services business or related field.
2. Experience with budget management.

BASIC FUNCTION:
Under the supervision of the 21st CCLC Project Coordinator support in building program capacity through daily operations and activities in alignment with program policies. Key responsibilities include coordinating program development and implementation supporting staff development and assisting with fiscal aspects related to the grant. Work hours align with after-school programming and may vary.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Implement coordinate and manage all program aspects of the 21st CCLC program within each site.
2. Work directly with the 21st CCLC Project Coordinator site coordinator school principal and school staff to monitor and support program goals in academics enrichment and family engagement to ensure compliance and achieve optimal outcomes in literacy mathematics attendance and student behavior.
3. Assist the project lead in organizing and facilitating 21st CCLC meetings workshops and trainings as requested; serve on designated committees as required.
4. Collect program data and file all necessary reports as directed. This includes but not limited to implementation of program student outcomes family engagement Federal Data Reporting: GPRA Measures Annual Performance Report (APR) and Local Evaluation Reports.
5. Promote the 21st CCLC program in the assigned school and community.
6. Facilitate the recruitment of internal and external instructors to teach in the program.
7. Provide payroll support for both staff and vendors/organizations.
8. Provide oversight and work cooperatively with all partnering agencies.
9. Assiss with recruitment of student participants.
10. Provide mentoring to 21st Century Coordinators and volunteers with overall guidance in program management to help meet daily expectations. This includes support with scheduling ensuring proper staffing and fostering community partnerships to create a safe engaging and high-quality afterschool environment.
11. Ensure that each site adheres to program operations and safety standards to maintain compliance. and quality implementation of the 21st CCLC program.
