Job Description

Satellite Shelters Inc. a leader in the mobile modular industryis currently looking for an Operations Coordinator in our Cincinnati area branch located in Hamilton OH. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently be a self-starter and be aproblem-solver. Experience in the construction and/or carpentry industries preferred.

Position Summary:

The position assists branch management in the daily operations of the branch. The person in this role assists in the coordination of operations activities product development and service and quality. Additionally this position assists the branch manager/operations manager with monitoring of safety information scheduling reporting and other safety-related activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Operations:

  • Assist in the coordination of daily yard activities of workers and drivers.
  • Utilize computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite and NAV.
  • Assist in the coordination of scheduling of deliveries pickups and multi-sectional set-ups.
  • Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
  • Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster aid and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate.
  • Monitor oversight of stock assignment to branches.
  • Issue and track vendor purchases orders
  • Assist in the monitoring of purchasing and expense associated with the maintenance of the yard and equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Administrative:

  • Schedule and organize service calls vendors and inside service techs in response to rental clients.
  • Utilize computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite and NAV.
  • Maintain and manage filing system for branch.
  • Acts as liaison to other departments and outside agencies.
  • Handles confidential information.
  • Works independently and within a team on projects.
  • Types general correspondences memos charts tables etc.
  • Proofreads copies for spelling grammar and layout making appropriate changes. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy.
  • Assist with other clerical duties such as photocopying and faxing
  • Acts as liaison to accounting department. Process accounting documentation as required.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • This position requires a high school diploma and 1 year of administrative assistant experience or equivalent combination of work and educational experience
  • Experience working on an assembly or construction site a plus.
  • Technical Capacity
  • Shown ability to collaborate with other team members to accomplish tasks.
  • Thoroughness and detail oriented.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong Interpersonal communications skills
  • Schedule flexibility to respond to emergencies
  • Current drivers license and ability to operate vehicles.
  • Entry-level to intermediate-level construction experience required.
  • Light carpentry and electrical experience.

Physical/Mental Demands:

  • Position requires a high degree of concentration to manage frequent interruptions while meeting strict deadlines.

Compensation:
The pay range listed is the base pay range that Satellite Shelters inc/Satellite Industries Inc. reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors including but not limited to a candidates qualifications skills competencies experience location and end client requirements).
