What is this role
In the Chief Executive Officer role you will lead the organisation into its next chapter at an exciting time of growth and opportunity. You will be comfortable and well-qualified to lead an organisation that is grounded in and animated by its Christian origins and faith. Building on a strong foundation of mission content programme excellence and trusted donor relationships this is a unique opportunity to shape the future of parenting education in Aotearoa.
The role calls for an authentic and strategic leader with commercial acumen strong people leadership and a passion for supporting families. You will be responsible for setting strategic direction overseeing operations engaging stakeholders and donors building a thriving team culture and ensuring financial sustainability.
Who are we looking for
We are seeking a values-driven leader to guide Parenting Place in delivering meaningful charitable impact while maintaining commercial resilience. You will lead a team of approximately 25 staff fostering a healthy and high-performing culture aligned with our mission. The role includes financial oversight revenue growth through donor engagement sponsorships and commercial channels and stewardship of key funder relationships. You will also guide the organisations digital strategy and work closely with the Board of Trustees to provide transparent reporting and strategic advice.
