About Organization
The Radio Technology and Policy Department is responsible for radio policy radio technology and license management in cooperation with related departments within the addition to the above this department is also responsible for technical strategy frequency strategy technical conditions for new systems and system development which are important for the wireless communication business.
Job Duties
The incumbent will be responsible for all or part of the following tasks based on their expertise work experience and personal interests:
Coordination and communication with other companies in the industry and stakeholders related to radio waves.
Technical support for license application and trials etc.
Correspondence with related departments of MIC (Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications) regarding radio policy and regulation.
Support for required action of 700MHz BS early deployment and 700MHz association.
Responsible for making draft public comments related to radio policy and submitting them to MIC.
Responsible for preparing materials for MIC hearing meetings and Q&A sessions regarding MIC annual radio usage survey results.
Meeting arrangement and reporting minutes of various meetings with MIC and among 4 mobile network operators.
Reporting to MIC regarding the progress in area development and dead zone measures.
Participation in the 5G Infrastructure Development Promotion WG and support for submitting opinions to MIC.
Minimum Qualifications
In-depth knowledge of radio technology and policy department related fields (at least 3 years of work experience in related fields or equivalent knowledge).
High level of communication skills in Japanese (Fluent).
Teamwork skills and the ability to think and act independently.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Japanese Radio Law.
Knowledge of wireless communication systems and frequency usage in Japan.
Knowledge and practical experience in radio equipment certification and licensing.
Radio land special radio engineer or other radio worker qualification.
Languages:
English (Overall - 2 - Intermediate) Japanese (Overall - 4 - Fluent)Full-Time
