Medical Manager

Job Description

Our client is looking for a Medical Manager and this role presents a unique opportunity to make impactful strategic and scientific contributions to Hong Kong local market initiatives. The ideal candidate will leverage their deep understanding of multiple disease area and initiate the development and execution of evidence-based strategies that align with both corporate goals and patient needs.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Medical Manager you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining professional relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and scientific experts. Your responsibilities will include driving strategic scientific initiatives such as advisory boards educational meetings and clinical studies while ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations. You will effectively engage with healthcare professionals delivering comprehensive scientific information about newly launched neurological products and responding to inquiries from the medical information and sales teams by field visits.

• Enhance collaboration with KOLs and Healthcare Professionals:Engage proactively with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals to establish robust partnerships that promote knowledge-sharing and collaboration within the medical community through field visits.
• Assist in Developing Therapeutic Area Medical Plans: Aid in the creation and implementation of detailed medical plans targeting specific therapeutic areas including data analysis and the drafting of medical letters and scientific disclosures.
• Provide Scientific Expertise for Promotional Materials: Deliver expert scientific perspectives to ensure the precision and effectiveness of promotional materials and assist in training internal teams including sales representatives on product-related information.
• Organize Scientific Engagement Activities: Plan and facilitate scientific engagement initiatives with clinical experts to encourage continuous collaboration and information exchange with stakeholders and key opinion leaders.
• Cultivate Relationships with Professional Societies: Build and maintain partnerships with relevant professional societies through effective market mapping.

• Contributing clinical and scientific expertise to support cross-functional collaboration and ensuring readiness for product launches.

Key requirements:

• A Masters degree or higher in Medical Science pharmacology or a related scientific discipline is required; ideally with Hong Kong Registered Pharmacist License

• 4 years of experience in medical function in pharmaceutical industry
• Excellent in both written and spoken English Cantonese and Mandarin
• Excellent scientific analytical organization and communication skills
