Buying Manager
Our client is a leading global fashion and design company with over 4000 stores across more than 75 markets. They are dedicated to making high-quality sustainable fashion and design accessible to all. They are currently seeking for an outstanding Buying Manager to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies. Evaluate suppliers negotiate contracts and manage relationships.
- Monitor stock levels implement control procedures and ensure effective replenishment.
- Negotiate pricing and terms build strong vendor relationships and resolve issues.
- Research industry trends and competitive pricing to guide purchasing decisions.
- Manage the purchasing budget track spending and ensure cost savings.
- Work with other departments to align purchasing with business goals.
- Ensure policy and regulatory compliance and maintain accurate records.
- Lead and mentor the procurement team to achieve goals and support development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a buying or procurement role with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity. Experience in apparel industry is preferred.
- Strong negotiation analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong proficiency in English Cantonese and Mandarin
