A respected and thriving veterinary practice in Beaumont California is actively seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Director (DVM) to join and lead its high-performing team. This full-service small animal hospital is known for its commitment to exceptional patient care strong community ties and a collaborative work culture. The Medical Director will play a key leadership role while maintaining clinical responsibilities offering the perfect balance of medicine and management.
Position Overview
The Medical Director will:
Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to associate veterinarians and veterinary staff
Deliver high-quality medical care including wellness diagnostics surgery and preventative services
Oversee implementation of medical protocols ensure compliance and drive quality improvement
Perform surgeries dental procedures and advanced diagnostics as needed
Partner with hospital administration on strategic goals staffing and operational performance
Foster a team-focused inclusive culture that encourages growth learning and collaboration
Maintain a flexible sustainable work schedule that supports work-life balance
Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution
Valid California veterinary license
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach
Strong surgical skills preferred
Previous leadership or mentorship experience a plus
