Job Description Summary
Responsible for providing overall direction and support for the daily operation of the Office of Procurement and Contracting in the purchase of all supplies services equipment and capital construction projects necessary for the operation of the College and directs and leads the inventory management team.
Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE A Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration Economics or related field required. For applicants with a Bachelors degree: A minimum of six years of procurement experience is required to include relevant experience with RFPs and various contract types. A minimum of four years relevant supervisory experience is required. Prior procurement experience in a higher educational setting is preferred. Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) Certified Professional in Supply Management ( CPSM ) Certified Public Purchasing Officer ( CPPO ) Certified Public Purchasing Buyer ( CPPB ) Accredited Purchasing Practitioner (A.P.P.) or Certified Purchasing Card Professional ( CPCP ) certification is preferred.
