Job Description
Perituza is a global software development and consulting company headquartered in Houston Texas (USA) with development centers in Colombo Sri Lanka and New Delhi India. We are looking for an experienced full-stack software engineer specializing in web-based application development. The engineer will work directly with our US-based clients to build innovative software solutions. This is a permanent remote position.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop complex software projects
- Build solutions using an agile workflow
- Review code of other team members and provide technical feedback
- Mentor others in the technology organization
- Attend project meetings and daily standups with US-based customers; raise issues and report progress
- Incorporate quality software practices into all phases of the project life lifecycle
- Stay up-to-date on the latest industry and technology trends and look for ways to implement new ideas to continually improve the assigned projects
Requirements:
- 7 years of experience in web-based application development
- 5 years of experience Core or MVC
- 2 years of experience with React or Angular
- 2 years of experience with Responsive Web UI development
- Experience in working with cloud services
- Experience with agile development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; must be able to communicate effectively with native English-speaking customers
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment
- Experience using task management tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps
Education Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
