AssociateJob Description & Summary
At PwC our people in deals focus on providing strategic advice and support to clients in areas such as mergers and acquisitions divestitures and restructuring. They help clients navigate complex transactions and maximise value in their business deals.Key responsibilities
Support financial services M&A transactions (in Austria CEE and wider Europe) including banking distressed credit/equity securitizations and private credit funding.
Analyze and model data to assist with transaction execution and structuring.
Draft process materials such as sale process memorandums and bidding letter templates.
Assist with project management by coordinating work with multiple teams including clients and third-party advisors and providing regular updates and reports to stakeholders.
Support business development through market research preparing client events and drafting business proposals.
Engage in other business segments of PwC as needed.
Formal requirements:
A completed degree in business ideally focusing on banking corporate finance accounting or business law.
At least 2 years of professional experience in related activities (including internships).
Strong understanding of the Financial Services industry including regulation accounting and banks asset management processes.
Exceptional analytical skills and numerical aptitude.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI knowledge is strongly preferred.
Professional proficiency in German and English; proficiency in a CEE language is a plus.
Demonstrated commitment to teamwork flexibility and enjoyment of project-based collaboration in interdisciplinary teams.

Your annual gross target salary is at least EUR 56000 (all-in) for a Senior Associate position and EUR 49000 (all-in) for an Associate position. Depending on your qualifications and experience we will agree on your actual salary in a personal interview. Do you have more to offer than the minimum We do too.
